New reissue from EMI of the first album from this Argentinian prog rock trio. Recorded in 1976, Alas' debut sounded like the second coming of ELP. Gustavo Moretto plays an incredible array of keyboards as well as flute and violin. Drummer Carlos Riganti and bassist/guitarist Alex Zucker support quite ably. Lots of pyrotechnics to be heard here. The album consists of two side long epics as well as two non-lp tracks. One of the great ones from South America. Highly recommended.
