Debut release (in a limited 2LP vinyl edition) by this Spanish band heavily influenced by the 70s British Canterbury scene. The quintet features female lead vocals, guitar, bass, drums, keys, flute, and sax. The flute and sax leads bring to mind Caravan but the dirtier parts make a nod in the Soft Machine/Hatfield direction. Maria Toro sings in English (touch of an accent) and she has a nice wispy, dreamy voice. Guitarist Alberto Villarroya Lopez has a dirty sound that is a cross between Phil Miller and Nursery Cryme era Steve Hackett. Keys are a bit more varied that what is typical in the Canterbury sound with Mellotron also playing a prominent role along with Hammond organ, piano, and Mini-Moog. With a solid split between vocal and instrumental passages there is plenty for any Canterbury (and prog fan in general) to sink their teeth in to. Get it while you can! Highly recommended.
