Latest studio album from this extraordinary Swedish band successfully completes the transition from old school to modern progressive band. This is not to say that the 70s elements are not present - still lots of Mellotron and other analogue keyboards slamming you but the production owes more to current post-rock bands. Paying respect to ancient Gods, Gunnar Bergsten of Flasketbrinner contributes flute on two tracks. Anekdoten are still the reigning champions of dark, moody and melancholy progressive rock. HUZZAH!
