Second album for this German band now signed to Massacre Records. The album was produced by Andy Horn who many of you know from his work with Lanfear.
Anguish's brand of prog metal falls under a style I like to refer to as cyber-metal. In other words futuristic themes are the order of the day (no swords and dungeons to be found) and keyboards play a strong role in the mix. Another example of what I would consider a cyber-metal album would be Madsword's "Global Village" or Zero Hour's "Towers Of Avarice". Just my take.... This will definitely appeal to fans of Dream Theater and later day Fates Warning. Strong lead vox as well as synth/guitar interplay. Cool thing is that despite it's "progginess" it stays very melodic with lots of strong hooks. Highly recommended.
