Before I mention anything about this band's music I have to get one thing out in the open right up front....the drummer from Armada has a mullet. I'm talkin' serious 1090 and that has to count for something. The Armada is related to the defunct German band Stormwitch. LMP is offering this up as progressive power metal. To these ears I hear the power metal but I don't think some ornate keyboard touches makes the band a prog band. The singer sounds like a good version of Graham Bonnett and guitarist Damir Uzunovic has the Malmsteen neo-classical sound down pat. If the drummer didn't have a mullet I'd give these guys a C but because mullets rock we have to elevate their score to a B-.
