Great compilation released a couple of years ago. Sandy Bull was an under-recognized talent who had complete mastery of acoustic and electric guitar and would even throw in some oud for good measure. His music from the mid to late 60s foreshadowed Manuel Gottsching and Robert Fripp. He would multi-track himself building up rhythms that he would solo over (although he would occassionally work with drummer Billy Higgins). His unique twist on classical and ethnic pieces are quite extraordinary but wait until you hear the 21 minute "Electric Blend". His acoustic work has long appealed to fans of Robbie Basho, John Fahey, and Richard Thompson. We scored a great deal on these digipaks - grab them before we regain our sanity.
