Classic kosmigroov jammer from this great trumpet player. This session dates from 1971 and consists of three long tracks. Sublime playing from Byrd through out but its the funk underpinnings of members of the Crusaders (before they sold out) that really gets the groove going. Killer guitar licks from David T. Walker stomps all over William Henderson's electric piano and a bad ass rhythm section. This one is not to be believed. Highly recommended.
