Funny thing about this album. I stumbled on a used copy about 20 years ago and always thought they were an Australian band. No wonder I could never find any info on them...
First time on CD for this South African symphonic rock rarity, originally released in 1980. The band featured Claire Whittaker on vocals, Phillip Nel on keyboards, and Paul Woodley on guitars. Nel was the lynchpin of the band,writing all of the material. They incorporated a variety of session players on bass and drums. Apt comparisons can be drawn to Curved Air and Renaissance and when Nel gets more active on keys his penchant for ELP and Yes comes through.
