Apart from the out of print version on Art Sublime, I never knew there was an edition that was still in print. Apparently the original Portugues label Movieplay released this is 1999. I'm happy to offer it now.
Jose Cid is a Portugues keyboardist who kicked around with a semi-prog band called Quarteto 1111. This solo album was released in 1979. To the best of my knowledge it is his only straight on progressive rock work but what an album! The sci-fi concept album is accompanied by killer symphonic rock beginning to end. Cid plays a wide array of keyboards concentrating on Mellotron, Moog, string ensembles, piano ao. As amazing as the keyboard work is, the album would get a bit stale if it wasn't for the great guitarwork of Mike Sargeant. His biting tone complements the soft edge of the Mellotron perfectly. Easily the best prog album ever from Portugal and one of the great prog albums of all time. Highest recommendation.
