Killer second album by this young Dutch progressive/psychedelic trio. DeWolff consists of the brothers Pablo (guitars) & Luka (drums) van de Poel and Robin Piso (keyboards). These guys look about as old as the Jonas Brothers but unlike the Americans these guys are cool. The music is completely retro inspired prog with gobs of Mellotron, Hammond organ, Theremin, Rhodes, and piano. Guitars are fuzzed to the max. Clearly this is a band that tokes off the same bong that Black Bonzo and Wolf People are passing around. On the near 10 minute "The Pistol" the band goes into a long organ/guitar jam that smacks of an Allman Bros. rave up at Watkins Glen. There also seems to be a lot of buzz about these guys - playing lots of festivals and have had plenty of television appearances in Europe (poke around online!). This is an early tip for a young band on the rise. Highly recommended.
