Simply first class progressive metal debut from this Hungarian progressive metal band. There has been a bit of a buzz about Dreyelands for some time as their demos were shopped around for some time. Had they not been located in visa-restricted Hungary I suspect they would have had a deal some time ago. Rooms Of Revelation is a concept album told from the point of view of a schizophrenic. The production is spot on...so what about the music? Well...there is a definite Dream Theater influence and perhaps even a little bit more than a little AOR as well. Superb vocals and excellent musicianship make it obvious that this is a band to watch (if we'll be able to!). Plenty of keyboard soloing and the guitars have just the right touch of crunch with a strong emphasis on honest to God melodies. This will easily reside high on many end of year Top 10 lists. Highly recommended.

I definitely liked this release, and since there hasn't been a lot of prog metal releases lately, was happy to have something interesting to listen to. Not buy or die but good for sure.

Excellant Release here, All the greats Vocals Guitars etc.. Not cd release of the year, or even Buy or Die, But its a decent play.......

In my opinion this is not a buy or die CD. In fact i have to say i was slightly disappointed. The bands demo track 'Can't Hide Away' blew me away and sadly does not appear on the album. Even more sad is the fact that none of the tracks on the album, in my opinion, are of the same high standard. Yes the musicianship is good, the vocals are good but there is something missing that makes this a great album....It sort of looses it's way half way throgh the album. Promising but never really delivering. Sorry, i really wanted to like his more. Now the Aspera debut IS a buy or die CD ! S UK

This Release showcases the bands Versatile attitude for Music being a tasty mixture of the Metallic and the Melodic side of progressive and power metal combined with a touch of 80s AOR/hard rock music. CD starts out on the lighter side but ends up getting heavier.. Buy or Die......
