Its been a long road for this German band. Back in the early days they created very creditable Symphony X style neoclassical power metal. Nowadays the band has gone off in a different direction. Its a mix of melodic and power metal - they never lose sight of the hook and they are not afraid to show some self deprecating humor. So while their fans bitch and moan that it isn't like the good old days they are getting more and more popular.
Yes we know this is an expensive set. It is the German limited edition import that comes with a bonus track as well as a bonus live CD recorded in Los Angeles on the Rocket Ride tour. There will be a less expensive US single disc version coming out in 2009 if you feel the need to wait.
