Eureka - Shackleton's Voyage

SKU 28022
Beautiful symphonic rock project from multi-instrumentalist Frank Bossert. This is primarily instrumental prog heavily influenced by the 80s work of Mike Oldfield. Its a conceptual work dealing with Sir Ernest Shackleton's expedition to Antartica in 1914. There is a heavy celtic feel to the music - Iona's Troy Donockley even gets into the act as a special guest. Yes associate Billy Sherwood provides vocals on two tracks and RPWL's Yogi Lang mixed the album and provide a tasty Moog solo. Bossert's compositions are upbeat and display all his talents on guitars, bass, keys, and drums.

Ótimo cd de neo progressivo totalmente livre de alguns cliches do estilo, o que faz soar como um trabalho bastante agradável, lindos timbres de teclado e longos solos de guitarra.
