Excellent new progressive power metal band from Italy. Flashback Of Anger is led by vocalist Alessio Gori, who was Gamma Ray's touring keyboardist. It turns out he is just as good a singer as he is a keyboardist. Flashback Of Anger don't break any new ground but what they do they do exceptionally well. This has that distinct Italian flair - think Laybrinth, Vision Divine, or even early Secret Sphere. The thing that sets this band apart is that they crank the keyboards way up. FoA offer as many keyboard solos from Emanuele Giorgetti as there are from guitarist Giulio Circato. The keyboards add the more interesting progressive element to the speed driven metal (I guess that's the Gamma Ray influence). Highly recommended.
