Second album from this two man band. Floodline consists of Daniel Hall and Jeron Crabb - between them they handle vocals, guitars, bass, drums, and keyboards. Neal Morse associate Randy George is hauled in to guest on keyboards as well. Floodline is definitely progressive metal but some of their influences fall outside that realm. The band uses both clean and death growls and there is a definite Opeth vibe going on. What's interesting is the layering of the clean vocals reminding of Alice In Chains (no grunge in the music). If you dig your progressive metal on the heavier side you should check these guys out. Lots of riffing but clean and lean solos through out. Highly recommended.
