Infinity Overture is a new symphonic metal band put together by Danish shredder Niels Vejlyt. Fronting the band is the great Ian Parry - still one of the best voices in metal. There are female backing vocals from Lene Peterson who complements Parry well adding a fullness to the overall sound. Manticora drummer Mads Wolf pounds the skins. Sascha Paeth and Miro mixed the album and they are the perfect guys for a band trying to get that epic symphonic sound (these are the kats behind Rhapsody Of Fire). Quite melodic and if you are a fan of this style I think you will find it impressive. Definitely worth checking out if you are an Ian Parry or Elegy fan. I see the band lineup is changing around as they start to play live - playing live is always a good thing.
