Jane - Between Heaven And Hell (Digipak)

SKU 306542
New remastered digipak edition of this 1977 classic. Jane went through different phases, much of which paralleled Eloy. Starting out as a hard rock band they developed more progressive tendencies and by the middle of the decade they were going through their Pink Floyd phase. Much of this may be due to the arrival of keyboardist Manfred Wieczorke, who had split from Eloy. The side long title track is a mesmerizing tour de force of inner space rock - a bit claustrophobic at times, it leaves you in purgatory - somewhere between Heaven and Hell. Highly recommended.

The reason this great album wasn't your cup of tea is because it's a cup of Jaegermeister!! Fine album by Jane

I found this album to be quite meandering and lacking in focus. Their live album from a year earlier highlights their best material and is better performed than the studio stuff. Stick with that for the best value. This one's not my cup of tea. Leyth
