Official 2LP reissue with the original gatefold sleeve. Jane was a bit of an acquired taste. More hard rock than space rock, the band's achilles heel was always the vocals of guitarist Klaus Hess. He was average at best with an accent to match. The band hit its stride in the mid-70s with the arrival of keyboardist Manfred Wiezorcke , who had split from Eloy. His characteristic spacey sound was an immediate infusion of creativity that the band was lacking early on. Live At Home was the first album to actually feature Wiezorcke and its a killer to boot. Its what a live album should be - a document of a selection of a cross selection of the band's material. In this case it was enhanced by the 19 minute "Windows" which doesn't exist as a studio track. Wiezorcke brought a more progressive element to the band's hard rock sound taking them more in the direction that Eloy was travelling.
