Second album of instrumental symphonic rock from this Ukrainian band. Karfagen is led by keyboardist Antony Kalugin. The music has a classical feel, relying heavily on Kalugin's extensive keyboard work. There are a number of guitarists that contribute adding some occassional crunch to the proceedings but overall this skews heavily towards the lighter end of the sound spectrum.

This is a nice recording. Nothing ground breaking but it is full of the sounds, atmospheres and instrumentation that we love. Strong classical stylings without becoming stiff or square. Lots of keys and satisfying Mellotron. The drumming is superb and the guitar work will occasionally grab your attention. All in all a really enjoyable record that should appeal to fans of bands ranging from Flower Kings to Happy the Man.
