Wow! A band that can actually write SONGS. Kramer is a relatively your neoprogressive rock band from Netherlands. Life Cycle is a long concept album written by lead vocalist/keyboardist Marc Besselink. It tells the story of a brother and sister in search of their long lost father. They discover his diaries and learn about his life. The music isn't all that flashy in terms of solos. In fact quite a bit of the keyboard work focuses on piano with synths primarily used for pads. There is a bit of a melancholy and moodiness to the music that reminds me a bit of Marillion "Brave" or Rain "Cerulean Blue". I'm sure afficianados of neoprog can draw more specific references but that is what I'm picking up. Highly recommended depending on your taste for neoprog.
