Lacuna Coil broke out big time thanks to hit videos and a successful Ozzfest tour. Their last album, Karmacode, sold over 200,000 copies in the US. Pretty impressive for an Italian gothic metal band! The music of Shallow Life is definitely more commercial oriented than their older work but it still retains the basic core sound. I could listen to (and look at) Ms. Scabbia all day long.
