Michael Landau is probably the go-to-guy guitarist in LA for session work. He's played on over 100 gold and platinum albums. He also has a fusion band called Karisma that plays out at the Baked Potato all the time. This is a 2 CD live set chronicling some of his hotter moments. The band mates are phenomenal - Jimmy Johnson, Gary Novak, Scott Kinsey, Toss Panos ao. Landau has a real warm and soulful tone that envelops all his solos. A great mix of electric blues and fusion.
