The Polish instrumental quartet Lebowski title their disc Cinematic and its an apt description of their music. Drawing inspiration from a non-existent movie the band creates flowing progressive/post-rock music. The band tosses in sampled dialogue but not excessively - it's used in a way to tie the whole thing together. At times smoldering mellow and at other times some searing guitar leads bring a dynamic feel to the music. I'm reminded of the spacier long form interludes from Riverside's Out Of Myself. This one is certain to be a grower. Highly recommended.

This one was total surprise. Simply gorgeous instrumental prog rock of the highest caliber. Great balance between the guitars and keys in driving outstanding and memorable melodies. One of my faves from 2010. Leyth
