Third part of the trilogy created by Riverside vocalist Mariusz Duda. Impressions is a collection of instrumental material conceived during the sessions that produced the first and second albums. The album is acoustic based and quite moody and introspective. Duda is the primary musician and in some cases the sole musician on a given track. He is also accompanied by Maciej Szelenbaum and Wawrzyniec Dramawicz (Indukti). The music can be quite hypnotic at times as acoustic guitar, tuned percussion, and bass intertwine repeatedly with slight changes taking place over time - progressive rock meets classical minimalism. What the hell is this?/ Just Plain awful, What a let down. The 2 previous releases were fantastic...Musack to my Ears... Should be on a sound track somewhere...Whats the Message..Please new Riverside soon.....
