Amazing fusion album from this US trio. Fea Jur is the band's second album. Their started out as a metalcore quartet with vocals. When their singer split they reinvented themselves as an instrumental fusion band. Frankly the results are jaw dropping. Their hyper-chops take this close to tech metal territory but the strong jazz ethos that runs through this keeps it firmly in the fusion realm. The term "on steroids" has been overused but I have to say that Lye By Mistake sounds like Holdsworth on steroids!! Fea Jur is fusion that will melt your face. Highest recommendation.
