Can three consummate musicians shred at the same time and click? MCM prove the answer is yes. MCM = Alex Masi (guitars), Randy Coven (basses and mullet), and John Macaluso (drums). Honestly I've never been much of a fan of million notes a minute music but these is really impressive. In fact I've never heard Macaluso play in this style - his work with Ark is intense but not as frenetic.

Masterpiece of instrumental hard rock/fusion. Lots of varied styles (funk, Latin, atmospheric, etc) but rooted in the members' heavy backgrounds, Masi shreds! Some of Macaluso's best & most creative drumming, it's a bible of tasty licks. Also has a blistering cover of Weather Report's "Black Market". Like a more raw & unhinged Liquid Tension Experiment, even if the production isn't quite as polished.
