Pure prog bliss. Mars Hollow is a new California based symphonic rock band. You will hear obvious references to ELP, Triumvirat, Yes and Genesis and the band makes no pretentions about it. There are some moments that lay on the schmaltz a bit but if you like to jam out to Hammond organ, Mellotron, phat synth leads and ripping guitar solos...you have to check this disc out cuz these guys throw the hammer down. Highly recommended.

Listening to this now for the first time. Fantastic stuff!! If you like ELP you will love this. Will definitely be listening to this for a long time coming. It grabbed me right away and it hasn't let go yet. Can't wait for more releases from them.

Between 4 and five stars. Nothing groundbreaking here but everything is well done. Small touch of Elp here and there. A very good product at a incredible price !

Great new ELP-influenced prog rock album here. Well written and executed with nice lengthy tracks that you can sink your teeth into. Definitely more than a clone band as I hear a good deal of originality beyond the obvious ELP references. Very enjoyable and an easy recommendation. Leyth

A really solid album, front to back (or back to front -- really, it flows both ways). Detailed songwriting that never sits still, great vocals, cool lyrics, and lots of prog moments. Sixteen stars!

Pretty weak lyrics, overly ambitious drummer for many of the softer passages. Don't see myself playing this one often. Disappointing.
