Marsh, Rhys And the Autumn Ghost - The Fragile State Of Inbetween

SKU BPRCD001
Transplanted British singer/songwriter currently living in Trondheim, Norway. Mr. Marsh fell in with the Norwegian prog crowd and now finds himself in the position as lead singer in the revamped version of (what is currently called) White Willow. Who knows where that will take him but one result is it afforded him access to a number of great musicians to record his debut album. Members of White Willow, Anglagard, and Anekdoten appear. Those of you on the Mellotron hunt won't have to look very far. The music doesn't make many twists and turns - it has more of an introspective art rock feel. Think in terms of David Sylvian crossed with Anthony Phillips. A album that carries itself with class - highly recommended.

I couldn't get into Mr. Marsh's musical mood presented in this album. The music lacks dynamism, which makes it dull to me; and too many vocals. Sorry.

Eclectic, always interesting. Tracks 4 and 5 are mellotron heaven with a chorus for each tune that wrenches the heart. Excellent release.
