Initially this might sound pretty typical and boring -I mean INITIALLY, But just give it a few seconds to evolve, and it opens that slim-trickling epicenter of power sky wide. This band takes its time to totally blast the doors wide open, but only because they know they can afford it, with confidence. It reminds me of the way some Ulver songs open up (off of Blood Inside, or Shadows of the Sun). But NOT because they sound like Ulver at all, it's due to how subtle the vocalist starts, but then later displays his passion and ability strongly, yet somewhat sparingly. Beautiful, and as joyous an event as the first time I heard many other great albums. If you love passionate vocalists and good songs, you will most likely own this soon after hearing it. lize that the vocals are actually very good. For a change, a band with a bit of a pulse

I can count the number of recent songs that send chills up my back; Galahad's "I could be god, too"Satellite's "Don't walk away in silence"; and now Moongardens' "Dreamlord". The rising layers of mellontron and guitar stop abrutly, like an old school symphonic lurch that rattles your teeth, only to touch your cheek, in the next breath, like a tear. Then building more and more, and more, until the guitars' bridge lifts your ears to heaven. This one song alone is worth the price of memories, like the keyboards and drumns in the finale' of Cinema Show. A true Gem in 2008. mw
