Napoli Centrale were formed by sax/flautist/vocalist James Senese and drummer Franco Del Prete, two former members of the popular Italian band Showmen. They put the band together with American keyboardist Mark Harris and UK bassist Tony Walmsley. The debut album was released in 1975 and actually became a hit of sorts in Italy. It is very good jazz rock very much in the vein of Perigeo and Weather Report. They were never an upper tier band but all in all its aged pretty well.
