The two leaders of New Trolls reunite and hit it out of the ballpark with this 2007 effort. Vittorio De Scalzi and Nico Di Paolo led different versions of the band after their mid-70s split. Di Paolo had a car accident some years ago and can no longer play guitar but he contributes some keyboards. This is heavily orchestrated and frequently spotlights violin, oboe, and cello. This one is a worthy addition to the band's best progressive efforts. Subsequent to the release of this disc the band went on tour and performed all 3 Concerto Grosso pieces. People are still talking about their sets at Baja Prog. Highly recommended.
