Italian Prog is alive and well. This album is about atmosphere, space, and mood. NoSound is not about shredding whatsoever. Cool vocals, slow and steady drums with Hammond that becomes hypnotic. Perfect late night listen. Very cool stuff. 5.1 mix on bonus DVD is incredible with neat extras.

This cd doesn't overwelm everyone. My son, JT thinks "lightdark" is still better.I like "a Sense of Loss" overcomes a major mellotron deffect-Overkill. In "a sense of loss" the mellotron doesn't drown out everything. the guitars, are there, the drums, the cymbals, the piano. It would have been nicer with more music; but it is a decent listen; esp the last cut, under the backdrop of this past right coast weekend's weather. mw
