White hot fusion/funk ensemble from Ithaca, NY sure to blow away Hot Rats-era Zappa and Afroskull fans. The large ensemble is led by keyboardist Josh Oxford who plays a variety of analog keys, most notably Fender Rhodes and Mini-Moog. Vibes give the music the Ed Mann/Ruth Underwood flair and the horns definitely pick up on the Hot Rats feel. Guitarist Dillon Kondor doesn't sound like Zappa at all but he tears it up like crazy. This one is a real smoker! Highly recommended.
