It's been some time since we were graced with Discipline's magnificent opus "Unfolded Like Staircase". I'm not sure what the ultimate status of the band is but in the meantime we have the solo album from their mainman Matthew Parmenter. A multi-instrumentalist, he is helped out only by Matt Kennedy on bass. Overall if you are fan of Discipline you will not be disappointed. It's the expected Hammill-esque angst ridden affair but a bit more personal than the band recordings. If you are Discipline fan I would think you would find this indispensible.
