New pro-shot DVD of Renaissance's performance at the Keswick Theatre in Glenside, PA from September 23, 2011.
I was at this performance. It was a miserable rainy night but it was storming on stage as well! For a limited series of shows (11 in total), Renaissance performed the complete Turn Of The Cards album followed by a complete rendition of the Scheherazade album. They encored with the new very proggy "The Mystic And The Muse". It was a very hot set and Annie was spectacular. I suspect that a number of the songs were never performed live before. For me personally it had been almost 3 decades since I last saw Renaissance perform live. Perhaps there was a nostalgic component at play but I thought they were at the top of their game. It was a hell of a night!
This set was previously only available through the band's website but Renaissance's management has graciously allowed us to make this edition available. Not only do you get the DVD but you also get two CDs with the audio tracks of the performance. It arrives in a limited edition digipak.
