New band formed by 3 Italian kats living in the UK. They have a sincere love for "Rock Progressivo Italiano". (I have a confession...so do I!). The trio set out to make a recording in the style of 70s Italian prog bands PFM, Il Balletto Di Bronzo, Le Orme, etc. The overall sound is a bit laid back with a strong emphasis on acoustic guitar and analog keys. This immediately brings to mind Celeste. The album builds and builds and climaxes with the 12 minute "Orrizonti" which features some nice electric blowing. This one has the look, feel, and sound of a 70s recording. You can smell the Ampex tape flaking off. Clearly a labor of love and a fun listen. One pass through and I can tell that this one is going to be a real grower. Highly recommended.
