This one came as a bit of a surprise. Sandalinas is a project put together by Spanish guitarist Jordi Sandalinas along with ex-Meduza/Time Requiem vocalist Apollo Papathanasio. Sandalinas corraled Andy LaRoque to produce the album and contribute some guest solos. The music is firmly rooted in melodic hard rock along the lines of classic Rainbow. The title track kicks off the album and its an infectious monster of a tune - much like the rest of this disc.

Sandalinas and Masterplan as the vocalist of Sandalinas sings in the same range as Jorn Lande (A More powerfull David Coverdale type range).This Band is hard to pigeon hole as they incorporate several different influences (A little prog,a little Power Metal and more than a little bit of a 70's Hard Rock Vibe)!!!! Nice all around musicianship but the vocalist steals the show ! Can't wait till the next release to see where this band take's thier sound ! A Very welcome addition to My collection!!!
