New side project "supergroup" of sorts from Kamelot keyboardist Oliver Palotai. Sons Of Seasons features members of Blaze Bayley's band as well as Metalium vocalist Henning Basse. Epica vocalist Simone Simons appears frequently through out offering the female perspective. The Kamelot influence is all over this disc although its a bit heavier on the double bass and Basse doesn't always sing in a melodic style - for example he's frequently much more aggressive than Khan would ever be. This seems to be a real band - they are going on tour soon so it will be interesting to see where Palotai takes them.
