One of the rarer albums from the Brain label finds its way to CD again. Sperrmull were basically a hard rock band but with some prog and psych moves. Not much on complexity but the band does offer up thick slabs of organ, echoed vocals, and tripped out guitar solos. Tracks like "No Freak Out" make me want to freak out. At the end of the day it's not the masterpiece some cognoscenti would have you believe but it's definitely a grower.
