New metal band from Finland poised to break big like their countrymen Nightwish. Tacere's music has more of a dark vibe with strong orchestral power metal elements. Helena Haaparanta has a real powerful but controlled voice that is contrasted by the coarse tone of band leader and guitarist Karri Knuuttila. Huge sounding production complements the music very well. Something tells me this band is going to be big.

Decent gothic metal with some pop overtones. This genre is getting a bit overdone, IMHO. Nothing new or original but the female singer does have a great voice and she does use it very well. Would be 3 pyramids if the dude would just shut up. Leyth
