Excellent second album from this Argentinian quartet recorded in 2002. Instrumentation is flute, guitar, bass, and drums. Guitarist Ignacio Lois has a strong Fripp influence, using gobs of sustain for a fat, dirty sound. Flautist Damian Lois has at times a "spitty" style that reminds of Ian Anderson but for the most part plays delicately. The rhythm section anchors the whole thing down with an obvious debt to KC. Check out the track "Parentesis" which sounds like an out take from Red. While perhaps not a life changing album it's certainly one worthy of your attention. I get the feeling that Tanger is the tip of the iceberg and that there are a lot of interesting progressive bands recording in South America. Definitely check these guys out.
