This was originally supposed to be released by Frontiers in 2008 but they had a falling out with Tolkki and gave him back the rights. I imagine it was because Frontiers was expecting Tolkki to turn in a metal project - and this sure ain't it! Saana is the first part of a rock opera conceived by Tolkki. There are two female/one male vocalists, a drummer, and Tolkki (who provides all the instrumentation). Don't expect metal - this is new age style - light and fluffy.
