Fantastic second album of classic Italian prog served up by former The Watch keyboardist Gabriele Manzini. This is different than his Arcangel project which has a decidedly British sound. Ubi Maior aims squarely for the 70s and hits it out of the park. Definite PFM influence and the heavier moments evoke Biglietto Per L'Inferno and Il Balletto Di Bronzo. A big conceptual work with Italian vocals - its all based on a Neil Gaiman story. As a nice touch you get a second booklet with all of the lyrics translated into English. Highly recommended.

Excelente segundo trabajo de estos Italianos de estilo moderno y mucho sabor a antiguo. Toma Biglietto Per L'Inferno e Il Balletto Di Bronzo y ponle un sonido mas moderno, cercano a Imagin'Aria y tendrás a Ubi Maior. Este segundo CD es mucho mejor que el primero, siendo que el primero ya era bueno. Dura mas de 60 minutos, viene en un hermoso Digipack, los temas son cantados en buen Italiano, el sonido es muy bueno, teclados analogicos y además todos los temas son buenos. ¿Que mas?... Lo tienes todo si te gusta el prog Italico. Uno de los mejores trabajos del 2009. Hugo Castro Salinas. Santiago de Chile.
