This album is actually really good. It's smarter and more mature musically. I like it way better than the debut. Flat out- just good songs that get stuck in your head. It's good to sing along to and at the same time the musician in us will enjoy the technicallity of the instrumentation. Keep it up!

Ok, I really enjoyed their debut album too. But this one is by far, way better. The production, the performance and the songs are amazing, catchy and powerfull. It sounds modern and trendy. And the bonus dvd with the live show is very interesting too. Keep it up. Rob

I really enjoyed Venturia's debut "The New Kingdom" so I picked this up as soon as it was out. Unfortunately, and after repeated listens, I'm sorry to say that I am fairly dissapointed with this release. While a change of direction is, in many cases, a good thing, these guys just diluted the amount of progressive influences in their music to seemingly reach a wider audience. Many of the songs border on pop/rock or whatever the equivalent of AOR is these days. I still managed to enjoy three of the ten tracks with "Why?" being the best of the lot by a wide margin. Only for the true fan. Leyth
