The band's second album was also recorded in 1973. There is definitely more interplay between Way's violin and Etheridge's blazing guitar leads. Where as the first album seemed to let Way and Etheridge have their own space to solo, the interaction between the two gives the music much more energy - whether its them playing in unison or the "dueling" counterpoint runs. Messecar doesn't sing a lot which is good since he's an "ok" vocalist but when he does sing it helps to break up the pacing of the tracks (a good thing). The band's second album has been given the deluxe treatment from Esoteric - it features Mark Powell's usual fastidious notes and solid mastering. Comes with three bonus tracks.
