New sci-fi themed power metal super group of sorts. X-World/5 features former Hammerfall bassist Magnus Rosen, Pagan's Mind vocalist Nils K. Rue (!), Graham Bonnet's drummer Big Swede (yawn), Andy La Roque on guitar as well as Reeves Gabrel (??) as second guitarist. Odd to see Gabrel on a metal project and he doesn't change his style at all. You can tell when he's taking a solo as he adds all kinds of odd shimmering wiggly bits. This is like the metal soundtrack to an episode of Dr. Who!
