2004 brought us Within Temptation's "The Silent Force". This year we are graced with Xandria's third album "India". It's a triumphant tour-de-force of symphonic gothic metal. The band really seems to have blossomed on this release. The songwriting seems better and overall the group is much tighter. Xandria is backed by an orchestra and they provide a great backdrop for vocalist Lisa Middlehauve. This will be one of 2005's best releases. Highly recommended.
