Glass Hammer's 8th album finds little surprises and to these ears that's a good thing. After juggling lineups and different singers the band has gotten back to the basics emphasizing the abilities of founders Steve Babb and Fred Schendel.

Latest Glass Hammer album is the second part of a projected trilogy. The album finds the band with a new singer (quite excellent) and a subtle change in direction. While its still very much a Glass Hammer album all the way through I noticed a slighter emphasis on guitar than in the past.
