Gorgeous packaged remastered edition of the band's first album. Musically speaking its radically different than the later, flowing sequenced music. Its far more chaotic, experimental with a raw energy about it.

The first Hammers Of Misfortune album was a real suprise, coming out of left field (San Francisco actually). The band has redefined their sound a bit for the second go around and they continue to amaze me. Gone are all the death vocals.
