"It’s a known scenario. One sits in their own studio in the lockdown and tinkers with ideas but has the mild impression of gradually losing it. After twenty years of full throttle, you’re feeling run down, yet the head is still racing.

"Steve Walsh's solo album Glossolalia came out around the same time as the Kansas comeback album Somewhere to Elsewhere so they get compared quite a bit. But they are quite different.

Italian band formerly known at The Night Watch now reconstituted with a new lineup. Ghost sounds so much like Genesis they might as well call themselves Genesis. Folks, this is a total clone job that sounds like outtakes from Nursery Cryme or Foxtrot.

Time and time again, Italy's The Watch prove they are the pre-eminent Genesis influenced band going today. Vocalist Simone Rosetti sounds just like Peter Gabriel and the band's instrumentation carefully follows the mid-70s sound. Its all original music but definitely has Genesis in its DNA.

Many years ago we reissued this album on CD with new cover art. This new vinyl edition uses the original artwork. Werwolf was a symphonic rock band with female vocals. Musically there are some similarities to Eloy and Camel in places. Lots of beautiful female/male vocal harmonies.
